This file is useful to accelerate the rendering process of the medical exam. The CD-ROM also contains a file called “DICOMDIR” which lists the hierarchy between DICOM images. ![]() This directory contains the DICOM images. CD-ROMs commonly contain a directory called “IMAGES” or “DICOM” (other names are possible). ![]() The easiest way to upload a DICOM directory, is to use a CD-ROM which contains the usual DICOM arborescence as produced by a medical imaging device (TDM / MRI or X-Ray).
